DigiTimes predicts the launch of AMD's second-generation Ryzen processors will put pricing pressure on Intel. This may spark the chip giant to lower the pricing of its Coffee Lake processors:
The upcoming availability of AMD's second-generation Ryzen processors, built using Globalfoundries' 12nm process technology, will be priced between US$199-329, which will likely put pressure on Intel to cut prices of its eighth-generation Core desktop processors.
AMD's new chips will be available on April 19. Pre-orders are already open but for reviews you'll have to wait until Thursday.
