Take it with a grain of salt, but TweakTown claims we may see the first new discrete video cards from Intel a lot sooner than expected. The site writes anonymous industry sources indicate a big launch is planned at CES 2019 in January:
My sources are telling me to expect something late this year with all attention to be placed on Intel at CES 2019 in January, where Intel could unveil their new GPU. A discrete graphics card launch from Intel would be a huge deal to gamers, as NVIDIA has no competition in the high-end graphics card market from AMD whatsoever.
The site has no specifics, but this feels way too early in my opinion. We're unlikely to see a new GPU from Intel until sometime in 2020, so this would be very surprising.
