Earlier today, AMD introduced its Ryzen PRO mobile and desktop APUs. I'm not going to give much attention to this announcement as we don't really cover B2B products at DV Hardware. However, there was an interesting tidbit during the Ryzen PRO announcement.
AMD confirmed it's now sampling Ryzen Threadripper 2nd gen processors. No launch date was shared, but it's believed AMD will introduce the Threadripper 2000 series in Q3 2018. These chips are made on the same 12nm process at the Ryzen 2000 series.
