Last week we heard rumors about a 3GB GeForce GTX 1050 card and now NVIDIA updated its website to include this variant.

This new product features the same 14nm GP107 GPU as the GeForce GTX 1050 2GB and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB) and packs some surprises.

First up, it has the same 768 CUDA cores as the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and the 3GB GDR5 memory is clocked at the same 7GHz. It has a 96-bit memory bus and a memory bandwidth of 96-bit.

Interestingly, the base and Boost clocks are higher than the GTX 1050 Ti. The GTX 1050 3GB has a 1392MHz base and 1518MHz Boost, resulting in 2.33 teraflops of computing power. That compares to 1290MHz base clock, 1392MHz Boost, and 2.14 teraflops for the GTX 1050 Ti model.

The performance is expected to be about 10 percent higher than the GTX 1050 2GB. Pricing is unknown.
