Synopsys shows 20Gbps USB 3.2 over standard USB Type-C cable

Synopsys performed world's first USB 3.2 demonstration. This new protocol will double the bandwidth and will enable up to 20Gbps, this is achieved by using two 10Gbps channels together. The firm demonstrated USB 3.2 using standard USB 3.1 Type-C cables. You can expect the first products within a year or so.
