To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 8086, Intel is rolling out the Intel Core i7-8086K processor. We first heard about this chip a couple of weeks ago and now it popped up on the website of at least two webshops.

This special edition is believed to be a six-core chip with a 4GHz base frequency. What makes it really interesting is the rumored 5GHz Turbo, making it the first retail chip to hit that frequency out of the box.

Retailers list the Core i7-8086K for about $480 / 481EUR (incl. 22% VAT). VideoCardz says we may see an announcement on June 5:
On June 5th Intel is hosting a keynote where new processor could be unveiled. It is worth noting that Chinese retailers have listed Core i7-8086K for quite some time now, but only now Canadian, Russian and Italian retailers have started doing the same. In fact, Italian listing was already taken down, so it is hard to say if those are just placeholders or something is afoot.
