As was to be expected, AMD didn't provide a lot of details about its GPU roadmap at Computex. The firm did show off the 7nm Radeon Instinct, this is a card for the machine learning market. It will launch in the second half of this year and is the only 7nm GPU currently on AMD's public roadmap.

The Radeon Instinct GPU features a 7nm chip with four stacks of HBM2, resulting in 32GB of memory. The product is sampling to customers right now.

So what about gamers? AMD CEO Lisa Su remarked 7nm gaming GPUs are in the works, but didn't provide any further details.

A new GPU roadmap was shared but it looks the same as the one we're familiar with. We can expect 7nm Navi GPUs in 2019 and a yet-to-be-named "next-gen" 7nm+ architecture in 2020.
