EVGA preps 1000W PSU with 150mm length

Besides the 2000W PSU we covered yesterday, EVGA is also showing off a new Super G7 1000W power supply at Computex.

EVGA claims this is the smallest 1000W unit in the world, it measures just 150mm x 86mm x 125mm. Basically, the unit is 40 percent smaller in volume than the SuperNova 1000W G3 PSU.

Among other things, the more compact size was achieved by using a smaller transformer. The Super G7 1000W is fully modular and features a single +12V rail.

Availability is slated for September, and the pricing should be lower than the current 1000W G3 PSU!
