Intel eight-core Coffee Lake expected in September

Japanese tech site PC Watch managed to score some details about Intel's upcoming eight-core Coffee Lake CPUs.

Officially, nothing was said about the Z390 and the eight-core Coffee Lake chips at Computex. Unofficially, confidential soures confirmed September is the possible launch month for "Coffee Lake Refresh".

Skylake-X is also here to stay, the "Basin Falls Refresh" platform will reportedly feature a 22-core part.
