TweakTown picked up some AMD Navi rumors at Computex. As you may know, Navi is the next GPU on AMD's roadmap but we still know very little about this chip. It does look like this is a successor to the Radeon RX 500 series, and not a rival for NVIDIA's high-end lineup.

Anyway, the interesting thing is that Navi will be used by the Sony PlayStation 5, and it appears the latter has a lot of input in the design process. Sony is working much closer with AMD than it ever did before, and TweakTown heard semi-custom is something AMD CEO Lisa Su wants to heavily expand. The PS5 is currently expected in the 2020-2021 timeframe.

On a related note, the site heard high-ups in AMD's management are considering to let the Radeon brand die. It's not sure if this will happen, if it does it will occur with the launch of the first post-GCN architecture. As always, take this with a grain of salt.
