Is this a covert reveal from NVIDIA that its next-gen GPUs are codenamed Turing? Or are we reading too much into a happy birthday statement? Anyway, over on Twitter, NVIDIA celebrated the anniversary of Alan Turing, one of the pioneers of computer science. For a couple of months now, it's rumored that NVIDIA's next-gen gaming GPUs are codenamed Turing. We don't know this for certain as NVIDIA hasn't officially confirmed the codename, other options are Volta and Ampere.

The quote is also interesting "We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done." Bring it on NVIDIA, we're getting bored with Pascal!
