ThermalTake Engine 17 is an all-metal low-profile 17mm thin CPU cooler

ThermalTake rolls out a more compact version of the nearly two years old Engine 27. The new heatsink, called Engine 17, has a height of just 17mm and is compatible with 1U builds.

The special feature of this cooler is that it uses an all-metal construction, with a nickel-plated copper base, a radial aluminium heatsink, and a 60mm metallic fan.

Basically, rather than cooling a heatsink with a fan, this product spins the heatsink around. The ThermalTake Engine 17 can reportedly handle CPUs with a TDP of up to 35W. It looks pretty neat, but whether it cools well is a big question mark. Pricing and availability is unknown.
It only supports Intel LGA115x sockets. Despite its weight, the fan spins between 1,500 to 2,500 RPM, pushing about 9 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 11 to 23 dBA. Measuring 91.5 mm x 91.5 mm x 17 mm, it weighs 205 g.
