Here's finally some interesting news about NVIDIA's next-generation GPUs. Over on Reddit, a photo leaked of what is possible be a Turing development board. This is clearly something in the early stages of development, the card doesn't have an actual Turing GPU but does feature 12 GDDR6 memory chips from Micron. The latter announced yesterday that it started mass production of 8Gb GDDR6 chips, so we're most likely looking at 12GB GDDR6 memory on this board.

VideoCardz notes there's no reason to conclude this is a GeForce product, it could also be a next-gen Quadro or Tesla prototyping board.
This board lacks actual GPU, which appears to be rather large (add 12GB memory and we have a new enthusiast SKU). These boards are used for testing, which is demonstrated by tens of switches and connectors. It’s where the development starts, so it’s not exactly clear how this picture got leaked.
TechPowerUp notes the board has power supply provisions for up to 525W, but that's largely irrelevant considering this is clearly a development board. Interestingly, the site also tried to estimate the size of the GPU. The author speculates the surface of the GPU die could measure a huge 676mm²! That makes it a lot bigger than the GP104, which has a die area of 314mm², so we're not looking at a mainstream product here. Do note there are no display outputs, so perhaps this is a compute product.
