The Ryzen Threadripper 2990X will reportedly launch on August 13, this is the 32-core chip and it's rumored to cost a massive $1,500. There's also possibly a 24-core variant with the name Treadripper 2950X.

Gigabyte and MSI have new motherboards for the second-gen Threadripper; the Gigabyte AORUS X399 Xtreme and the MSI MEG X399 Creation.
