NVIDIA's GeForce Twitter account uploaded a teaser video for what appears to be a next-gen GeForce card. There are a lot of easter eggs in the video, with user names like "RoyTeX", a reference to RTX, and AlanaT, a reference to Alan Turing. You can also spot several numbers in the clip, everything basically points to "GeForce RTX 2080".

The next-gen lineup from NVIDIA will likely consists of GeForce GTX and GeForce RTX parts. The latter will be the high-end models, which will presumably feature RT cores to accelerate ray-tracing games. The more mainstream cards will probably lack RT and will carry on with the old GTX naming.

An announcement is expected at next week's Gamescom show in Cologne, Germany.
