At the start of the year, at the CES show in Las Vegas, NVIDIA teased BFGD displays. These are very large G-SYNC HDR panels with an integrated NVIDIA Shield. BFGDs are made in cooperation with Acer, ASUS, and HP. NVIDIA is involved in the development of the displays and controls the launch date.

The base specifications are identical: each panel is 65", has a 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, G-SYNC HDR, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color gamut, and high contrast thanks to a FALD backlight.

Dutch tech site Hardware.Info saw prototypes from ASUS and HP at Gamescom. The site got to hear from HP that its BFGD screen should arrive in Q1 2019, with pricing expected to be in the 4000-5000EUR range. HP aims to achieve the lower end of this range, but says the total production costs are still unknown at this moment.
