Another major departure at AMD as Jim Anderson, the senior vice president and general manager of the Computing and Graphics Business Group, is leaving the firm to become CEO of Lattice Semiconductor. The move is effective September 4 and his current role at AMD will be handed to Saeid Moshkelani.

PC World has a bit more background and suggests it adds some uncertainty to AMD's future, as Anderson played a key role in managing customer relationships and was the public face of both Ryzen and Threadripper.
