4A Games and NVIDIA showcase Real-Time Ray Traced Global Illumination in Metro Exodus. This demonstration runs on a Turing-based NVIDIA GeForce RTX series video card, it's an extended version of the presentation that was shown at last month's NVIDIA Gaming Celebration event in Cologne. Interestingly, when you look at the comment section of the video, it seems a lot of gamers are convinced at least some scenes look better with RTX off. While RTX is more realistic, it seems it will take some getting used to after decades of games with fake lighting.
