Almost five years after the launch of the original Strider Gold S power supplies, SilverStone is expanding the series with new 550W and 650W versions. These PSUs are just 140mm long they have fully modular cabling and are 80Plus Gold certified. They have a single +12V rail and are cooled by a 120mm fan.

Compared with the older versions, the 550W and 650W editions have a somewhat more modern design with ATX v2.4 support and support for the newest processor C-states. Both models can deliver their full nameplate wattage on the +12V line, and support 100W +3.3V and +5V.

The 550W model has two 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, while the 650W model has a total of four.
The 650W comes with a few more Molex connectors than the 550W model. Both offer single 4+4 pin EPS, and eight SATA power, besides the obligatory 24-pin ATX.

Pricing and availability is unknown.
