NVLink bridges with RGB LEDs will set you back $80 (or more)

We're not going to cover every single NVLink bridge as that's a pretty pointless endeavor, so we'll just pick out the one from ASUS. NVIDIA's own NVLink bridge for the GeForce RTX 2080 series costs $80 and it seems this is the minimum pricing from the AIBs too. The only difference is that some of these models offer a bit more functionality, like RGB LEDs.

This is a big price hike versus the old RGB LED SLI bridges, on top of the fact that even the GeForce RTX 2070 doesn't support the technology. Multi-GPU is no longer pushed as hard as a couple of years ago, and if you really want it you'll have to empty your bank account.
The all-new ROG GeForceĀ® RTX NVLink connects two GeForceĀ® RTX NVLink SLI-ready graphics cards with a 40 GB/s link. This means you can count on super-smooth gameplay at 4K and higher resolution with NVIDIA GeForceĀ® RTX 2080 Ti and 2080 graphics cards. Both 3-slot and 4-slot configurations are available and each model is equipped with ASUS-exclusive Aura RGB lighting for flexible customization.
