ATI's X1800XT and X1800PRO to have 512MB memory

Posted on Monday, September 12 2005 @ 19:11:16 CEST by

The Inquirer today reveals ATI's Radeon 1800XT and X1800PRO will both come as 512MB memory cards, while the Radeon 1800XL will come with 'only' 256MB.

It's expected NVIDIA will response with a GeForce 7800 GTX equipped with 512MB and a price drop of its 256MB models at the same time.

According to the rumours ATI's 512MB memory will be clocked high, between 1250MHz or 1400MHz. You can expect these cards by early October.
