ASUS XG49VQ 49-incher offers 3840 x 1080 resolution

ASUS is working on the XG49VQ, a new gaming display with a massive 49-inch size. This panel has a 32:9 aspect ratio and features a 3840 x 1080 pixel resolution. It's a lot wider than the old ultrawide 21:9 and the panel has a 1800R curve.

The XG49VO has a 144Hz refresh rate, VEGA DisplayHDR400 certification, 125% sRGB coverage, FreeSync 2 support, and ASUS Shadow Boost technology.
Gamers will also appreciate the monitor's ultra-high 144Hz maximum refresh rate. The 1800R curved monitor also has HDR support, alongside Adaptive-Sync (Radeon FreeSync 2) for that variable refresh rate goodness. ASUS' Shadow Boost technology should also allow gamers to see players in darker areas of competitive first-person shooters more easily. "It's not cheating, just good design," said the company's gaming rep.
Pricing and availability is unknown, but expect this one to be pretty pricey.
