SilverStone rolls out the FN124, a new 15mm slim 120mm fan for compact builds. It has optimized fan blades for balanced air pressure and airflow, and an air-inlet with optimized aerodynamic to reduce noisy air turbulence.

Compared with the old FN123, one of the key external differences is that the new version is all-black, whereas the FN123 has a black frame and white blades. The FN124 is a slower-spinning version that offers more silence, at the expense of airflow and static pressure.

The SilverStone FN124 spins at 1500rpm, pushes out up to 25.06CFM, has a static pressure of 0.86mmH2O and a noise level of 18dBA. For comparison, the FN123 model spins at 2000rpm, pushes out 32.6CFM, offers 1.52mmH2O static pressure, and has a noise level of 23.5dBA.

Pricing and availability is unknown.
