CNBC's David Faber claims Intel will announce a new CEO within the next month.

The chip giant has been without a permanent CEO since June 2018 when Brian Krzanich stepped down after word leaked about a relationship with an employee.

At the moment, CFO Bob Swan serves as Intel's interim-CEO. It will be interesting to see who will get the CEO position.
