Specifications leak of Intel Core i9-9900T with 35W TDP

Details emerged about the Intel Core i9-9900T, a new low-power variant of the 9900K eight-core, sixteen-threaded processor. This new part has a 35W TDP but has a base frequency of just 1.7GHz, a big drop from the 9900K's 3.6GHz. The Turbo is also quite a bit lower, with a maximum of just 3.8GHz versus 5GHz on the 95W TDP part. An engineering sample of this chip was listed on
A mysterious Coffee Lake Refresh (CFL-R) processor claiming to be the Intel Core i9-9900T, was up for auction on Yahoo! Auctions two days ago. The “T” suffix suggests the chip is a low-power variant of the Intel Core i9-9900K octa-core processor.
