One week from now, AMD will launch its Radeon VII video card. Based on a 7nm Vega chip, this card is set to take on NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2080 in the high-end video card market. However, there have been quite a number of rumors recently about the Radeon VII being a limited edition card, and that there may be no custom-design cards.

We still don't know how much of this is true, but PowerColor just confirmed on Reddit that they have no plans to launch custom-design Radeon VII cards in the immediate future.
One of the questions that has been asked quite a few times by the press and even you guys is "Are you guys doing a a custom Vega VII Red Devil?"

We did clarify to the media, that at this moment we will only carry AMD reference design and at the moment we do not have custom model planned in the immediate future.

Unfortunately this news spread and we decided to tell you guys at this point there will be only reference cards.
