For weeks now, there have been rumors about limited availability of AMD's Radeon VII card. We still don't know what's the truth of this, it could be that the initial launch batch is small, or that the card will never be available in large volumes. The latter could be true if AMD is making a loss on these cards, as some sources claim.

Anyway, a fresh piece of the puzzle has arrived as Gibbo from British PC part retailer Overclockers UK revealed on the OCUK forums that the entire launch inventory for the UK consists of under 100 cards. OCUK has 44 cards, with more due any day, making up just over half of the UK launch allocation. Gibbo says next wave shipments are not yet confirmed.

This lends credence to an earlier rumor about the initial production batch being just 5,000 units.
