DigiTimes heard rumors that ASUS and Razer are in separate talks with Chinese mobile game distributor Tencent for a cooperation on a gaming smartphone:
Asustek Computer reportedly has been in talk with China-based mobile game distributor Tencent to release a gaming smartphone that supports Tencent's games, but has recently encountered competition from Razer, which also has the same intention, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
The site says that at this point, Tencent hasn't yet made a decision on which company it will cooperate with.
