A slide from AMD confirms a new generation of Ryzen Threadripper HEDT processors is on the roadmap for a launch later this year. There's no further information other than this tiny snippet.

The third-generation Threadripper processors are expected to be based on the 7nm Zen 2 architecture, similar to the upcoming Ryzen 3000 desktop series and EPYC 2 server processors.

The Ryzen 3000 series desktop processors are expected to be released at Computex (May 28). We do not know an expected launch date for the third-gen Threadrippers, this will probably be late Summer or Fall 2019.
