Bethesda teases Orion streaming tech - shows Doom on smartphone

Among other things, Bethesda showed off its new Orion game streaming technology at the E3 show. Game developers can use Orion to stream games to gamers, the benefits of Orion include lower bandwidth consumption as well as lower latency.

The game publisher said the Orion SDK will be easy to implement and showcased its functionality by streaming Doom (2016) to a smartphone. A public beta test will follow soon.
