Apple credit card is pretty but not functional - leather or denim can stain it

While the metal credit card from Apple is certainly a very pretty product, some of the guidelines the company issued make us scratch our head. Apple advises users not to store the titanium Apple Card in leather or denim, as this may cause discolorations that "will not wash off".

Furthermore, Apple warns to not store the card together with other credit cards or loose items as this may result in scratches. As Engadget writes, it looks like the Apple Card is more for showing off rather than actual, functional use;
This isn't functional issue on the level of Antennagate. It's not like your card will stop working just because it's a bit dirty, and you'll have an incentive to use Apple Pay more often regardless. With that said, the titanium card is as much about flaunting your status as it is making purchases. It's hard to do that when your card looks like it went through hell, isn't it?
