EVGA introduces the SuperNOVA G5, a new line of fully-modular PSUs that succeed the SuperNOVA G3 series that launched in 2016. The new 80Plus Gold models offer slightly higher efficiency, 100% Japanese Capacitors, an overall better internal design, better voltage regulation, lower ripple and noise, and a 135mm Fluid Dynamic bearing fan (previous version was 130mm). All models now also have 10-year warranty, whereas the lower-end models of the previous lineup "only" had 7 years.
The EVGA SuperNOVA G5 joins the elite ranks of the EVGA 80 PLUS Gold power supplies. As the successor to the award-winning G3 series, the G5 power supplies continue to push the envelope with the latest certifications and Intel power-on standards. Starting with 80 PLUS Gold certification, fully-modular cable design, 100% Japanese capacitors, and an ultra-quiet 135mm Fluid Dynamic bearing fan with EVGA ECO mode, these power supplies are built for performance and silence.
Pricing of the 650W, 750W, 850W, and 1000W versions in EVGA's webshop is $89.99, $99.99, $109.99, and $139.99, respectively. The company also offers $15 to $25 mail-in-rebates.
