Gigabyte issues X299 BIOS updates to support new Core X CPUs

Gigabyte announces the availability of new BIOS updates for its Intel X299-based motherboards. The updates add support for Intel's upcoming Core X processors.
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, announced the release of the newest BIOS updates which support the upcoming Intel® Core™ X CPUs. GIGABYTE engineering has developed BIOS updates for all GIGABYTE X299 motherboards to optimize performance on Intel’s upcoming enthusiast-grade Core™ X CPUs. The newest BIOS updates are now available on the official GIGABYTE website for users to download and upgrade their systems.
There are updates for the following motherboards:

  • X299 AORUS Gaming 9
  • X299 DESIGNARE EX
  • X299 AORUS MASTER
  • X299 AORUS Gaming 7 Pro
  • X299 AORUS Gaming 7
  • X299 AORUS Ultra Gaming Pro
  • X299 AORUS Ultra Gaming
  • X299 AORUS Gaming 3 Pro
  • X299 AORUS Gaming 3
  • X299 UD4 Pro
  • X299 UD4 EX
  • X299 UD4
  • Gigabyte says there will be no update for the X299 AORUS GAMING due to hardware limitation for only 16 lanes CPU.
