A set of fresh benchmark scores indicate Intel's Ice Lake processors will indeed feature much more potent integrated graphics. The scores are of the new Intel Core i7-1065G7, which features the Iris Plus Graphics G7 (Gen11) integrated graphics solution with 64 EUs. The chip is found in the new Lenovo Yoga C940 and NotebookCheck offers some quick comparisons.

The site says the Iris Plus Graphics G7 integrated graphics beat AMD's Radeon RX Vega 10 integrated graphics by up to 23 percent in synthetic benchmarks. In real-life gaming tests the difference shrinks to a roughly on-par level, but NotebookCheck didn't really test a lot of games so further testing will be required.

Overall it appears Intel is indeed serious about upping its game in the graphics scene and we can't wait to see what Xe (Gen12) delivers.
