In the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark database, Twitter user APISAK discovered the first entry of an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3000 series part. It seems AMD will using the Ryzen Threadripper 3960X name for its 24-core part. This suggests there will be 32-core (or more) parts for the 3980X and 3990X.
Yesterday a leak from the AMD Master Product list has emerged, where the manufacturer confirmed Threadripper going up to 280W. This is the same TDP as recently launched EPYC 7H12 with 64-cores. Although the entry in the Master List was clearly tagged as ā€œ32Cā€ (32 cores).
