Star Citizen crowdfunding tops $250 million mark

Star Citizen is the most successful crowdfunded game in history and the money keeps rolling in at a nice pace. About one year ago the game crossed the $200 million in funding mark and now it has surpassed $251 million. As it stands right now, the game has 2,449,276 contributors. The game has been under development since 2012 and it's still far from being completed. New features do get added regularly though.
