A leaked slide suggests Intel's Core i9-10900K may pack quite a big performance uplift. A series of tests performed by Intel reveals that depending on the benchmark, the new ten-core chip is 2 to 30 percent faster than the eight-core Core i9-9900K processor.
Both CPUs were reportedly tested with all security patches available on 4th November 2019. In benchmark such as Cinebench R15, the 10900K is up to 26% faster than 9900K. Based on all these results, the CPU is on average 13% faster than the current-gen CPU.
The 10900K may be introduced at next week's CES 2020 show in Las Vegas.
