The company's 7nm capacity is fully booked and 5nm volume production will start in the first half of this year, with Apple being one of the major clients for the first 5nm production.

DigiTimes also heard that Intel contracted TSMC to produce automotive AI chips. Revenue from these chip orders will start hitting TSMC's war chest in the second half of 2020.
