Over at CES 2020, the first announcement from NVIDIA was a new G-SYNC eSports display with a 360Hz refresh rate. The first 360Hz display is the ASUS ROG Swift 360, a 24.5" display with a 1080p resolution, it will ship later this year.
Does 360Hz make a difference? We're not sure but some eSports players who tried the screen said they were surprised by the improvement. Jordan n0thing Gilbert, 5-time CS:Go Champion, said that when he switched between 240Hz and 360Hz, he "could immediately tell there was a difference."
Not a lot of detail were shared but it's safe to assume the ROG Swift 360 uses a TN-based LCD panel.
