NAND prices to rise 40 percent this year?

Posted on Monday, January 06 2020 @ 13:21:05 CET by

If you're in need of solid state disk storage, it may be wise to purchase a disk sooner rather than later.

Prices of SSDs fell significantly the past couple of years, but as is typical in the memory market, this boom-bust cycle reverses.

A new report from DigiTimes claims industry sources expect NAND flash pricing will increase by up to 40 percent in 2020.

At the moment, you can still get 1TB NVMe SSDs like the WD Black SN750 for just under $190.
