Gamescom 2020 to be digital-only event

With little relief in sight for the coronavirus pandemic, it looks like there will be no major mass events until at least the end of summer. The latest cancellation is Gamescom, Europe's largest video game conference. Following the decision by the German government to ban all major events until the end of August, Gamescom announced on its Twitter feed that this year's edition of Gamescom will be a digital event. More details will follow soon.

Last year, Gamescom received 373 000 visitors from all over the world.
