Ever since Apple started making its own smartphone processors, rumors have been circulating that the company has the same plan for its computers. Earlier this year, there was a rumor about Mac computers with Apple-made chips coming out in 2021 and now Bloomberg writes the same thing.

The news agency spoke to anonymous sources familiar with with Apple's plans and got to hear tat the company aims to launch ARM-based Mac computers in 2021.

Three ARM-based computers are in the works, all of them based on the A14 SoC design that will be used in the next iPhone. The first ARM-based computer will reportedly have a much more powerful processor than the one used in the iPhone and iPad lines.

Apple plans to make the transition to ARM gradual, starting with less-powerful computers.
