UPDATE: No Crew Dragon launch today! The mission has been cancelled due to bad weather. The next attempt will be on Saturday, May 30th at 3.22 p.m. EDT.

At 4:33 p.m EDT, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with the Crew Dragon capsule is expected to take two NASA astronauts to the ISS. This is the first American manned space flight since 2011, when the Space Shuttle made its final voyage. Besides giving the US back its ability to launch humans into space without having to rely on foreign governments like Russia, the mission is also historic as it's the first time a commercial company launches humans into space. It's a critical milestone for Elon Musk towards his vision to take humanity to Mars.
