Take it with a grain of salt, but what is claimed to be a leaked internal roadmap from AMD indicates that the firm's Vermeer CPUs will be succeeded by Warhol. Vermeer is expected to be released later this year, although a rumor from earlier today indicates it may be pushed back a couple of months to make it on TSMCs 5nm+ instead of 7nm.

Anyway, the fresh rumor is that the first Zen 3-based desktop CPUs will be codenamed Warhol. The leaked slide indicates Warhol will use a 7nm process, so either this news is fake or outdated, or the 5nm+ report was inaccurate. Warhol could be a refresh of the Vermeer series, similar to the upcoming Matisse Refresh.

Furthermore, the slide reveals Warhol will be succeeded by Raphael. This lineup will use the Zen 4 architecture.
