At the moment, Epic Games is trying to promote its Store by offering weekly free games. Last month, we already saw free versions of GTA V, Civilization VI and Borderlands, but it appears the game publisher has big plans for the future. At the moment, Epic Games focuses on PCs but CEO Tim Sweeney told GameSpot that other platforms will follow soon.

Sweeney says the company will launch a version of its Store for Android in the future, and that they also want to bring Epic Games Store to Apple's iOS platform. The latter is a bit more complicated as iOS doesn't allow the installation of apps outside of the Apple App Store, so it will be interesting to see what Epic Games has in store here.
"We'd like to bring the [Epic Games] Store to iOS in the future, and we will bring it to Android," Sweeney said. "We think it's a good way to help the industry [move] forward and it's another way where Epic as a game developer had built up this audience around Fortnite and learned how to operate a distribution platform on PC and Android.
