Razer Ornata mechanical membrane hybrid keyboard gets a V2

Razer introduces the Ornata V2. Just like the original, this gaming keyboard features a hybrid switch that aims to merge the benefits of membrane keys and mechanical switches. One of the differences versus the original is that V2 has dedicated media keys. The keyboard features a multi-functional digital wheel and offers a pretty large leatherette ergonomic wrist rest. It's priced at $99 (109.99EUR) - which is a pretty steep price considering you can get decent mechanical keyboards for this price.
Fusing the snappy, clicky feedback of a mechanical switch with the familiar, cushioned feel of a conventional keyboard, each keystroke you make on the Razer Ornata V2 is as satisfying as it is precise.

The Razer Ornata V2 has added controls that can be configured to pause, play, skip and tweak everything from brightness to volume—the ultimate convenience as you enjoy your entertainment.

With 16.8 million colors and a suite of effects to choose from, the Razer Ornata V2 not only has deep customization, but offers greater immersion with dynamic lighting effects as you game on Chroma-integrated titles.

  • Razer Hybrid Mecha-Membrane Switch for clicky keystrokes with a soft, cushioned touch
  • Multi-function Digital Wheel and Media Keys for convenient control
  • Powered by Razer Chroma RGB for customizable lighting and greater game immersion
  • Plush leatherette ergonomic wrist rest for long-lasting gaming comfort
  • Fully programmable keys for custom profiles, key bindings, and macros
  • Razer Ornata v2
