VideoCardz writes a slide from an Asian Intel Partner meeting from yesterday reveals there will be no 11th Gen Core CPUs this year. If the slide is accurate, it means Intel is no longer planning to launch its Rocket Lake-S series before the end of this year.

While Rocket Lake-S is still 14nm, it's the most interesting Intel desktop chip in quite some time as it's basically a 14nm backport of the 10nm Tiger Lake with its new Willow Cove cores and Xe-based integrated graphics. It's unknown why Rocket Lake-S is no longer on the 2020 roadmap. Perhaps Intel is now opting for a CES 2021 launch in January 2021.

The slide also reveals there are no plans to update the HEDT platform in 2020.
