OQO's 01+ Windows XP pocket computer

OQO has today launched its model 01+ pocketable Windows XP computer. This device measures only 4.9" x 3.4" x 0.9", weighs 14 ounces and features a 1GHz processor and a 30GB HDD. It is equipped with a 5-inch 800 x 480 pixels W-VGA LCD display and comes with 512MB RAM and a QWERTY keyboard with mouse buttons and TrackStik.

Other features include: 3D accelerated graphics with 8MB RAM memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, FireWire, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, microphone, pen-based digitzer, support for screen rotation and support network boot (PXE).

It has a lithium polymer battery and OQO says the computer has a battery life of up to three hours.

The OQO model 01+ is now available for $1,899 and comes with the following accessories:

With upgraded specs, new features and additional accessories all packed in the same 14 ounce pocketable design that made the model 01 the smallest and most mobile Windows XP computer on the market, the model 01+ offers even more PC functionality everywhere you go. In addition to upgraded memory, larger hard drive, and faster USB, the model 01+ incorporates an internal speaker and improved pen-based digitizer. The model 01+ now ships with a new universal power supply which adds support for airplane and automobile DC power outlets.
