Well the company offers an extension of its warranty period on select motherboards, some boards get 4-year warranty via VIP Care while others get 5 years. It only applies to products submitted within 1 month from date of purchase though.

It should be mentioned that proof of purchase must be submitted when registering the product with BIOSTAR for validation purposes.
In addition to the extended benefits given by this new service, BIOSTAR customers will be provided with support for repair, warranty and consultation services as well, by applying for repair and consulting service through the e-Repair portal in the new BIOSTAR VIP CARE webpage.
