VideoCardz writes about a leaked photo of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3995X processor. It's rumored that the Ryzen Threadripper PRO series will launch on July 14th.

Just like the Ryzen PRO series, the Threadripper PRO chip are aimed at the business market. The Threadripper PRO parts are intended for the workstation market and will reportedly have an eight-channel memory controller and support for up to 2TB of DDR4. It's the same number of memory channels as the EPYC "Rome" server processors, but less than the 4TB DDR4 supported by the latter.
AMD Threadripper PRO is said to feature 8-channel memory and up to 2TB of capacity. For comparison, consumer Threadripper series are 4-channel only and they support up to 256GB.

We might finally see the sWRX8 socket coming to the market, it was rumored to feature such configuration more than a year ago.
